I am excited you are here and am honored to walk with you through your journey. I received my master’s in psychology from Pepperdine University and my bachelor’s in social science from Chapman University. I am also a certified coach. I graduated from Transform Coaching Academy, an ICF-certified coaching program. My mission and passion over the past two decades have been to positively impact the lives of children and adults with ADHD, anxiety, and other conditions. I provide a safe space where clients feel heard, validated, and never judged. There are challenges with ADHD, but there are also joys and gifts that come with it as well. I believe everything you need to achieve your goals is already inside you, and it has been my life’s joy to see my clients achieve their goals and dreams.
Are you desiring healthier relationships? Does it seem like you are attracted to the same type of people and want to break the cycle? Are you in a relationship and desire to understand each other better or have a deeper connection? Are there things holding you back from the relationships you desire? If any of these sound like you, I can help!
My Coaching Style
I combine my background as a mental health coach and ADHD coach, mindfulness, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), neuroscience, and my personal life experiences raising a daughter with ADHD to address a wide range of topics. Our inner reality creates our outer reality, so changing the negative thought patterns that play in our mind like a broken record is very important to me as a coach. I specialize in ADHD coaching, life coaching, anxiety, time management, overwhelm, emotional regulation, rejection sensitivity, self-esteem, impulse control, follow-through, productivity, accountability, career/life transitions, and relationships.
More About Me
I am a wife to a spouse with ADHD. My journey began in 2002 when my young daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. She often felt different or misunderstood and had anxiety all the time. I knew I had to do something to help her. It took me ten years to finish my education while working full-time and raising my children, but I did it. I truly believe it is never too late to be what you could have been. I now dedicate my life to helping others achieve their goals, and it has been such a blessing.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Coaching is a specific, safe, respectful, guided process of interaction and self-discovery over a period of time that encourages and expands your ability to make significant changes, move forward in new areas, and create more of what you want in your life.
Therapists seek to diagnose and treat symptoms of mental health challenges within an individual; coaches seek to empower, encourage, educate, motivate, and help individuals build strategies to obtain their goals. Coaches do not diagnose any mental health conditions.
100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions. The only time it wouldn't is if you were to express the desire to hurt yourself or others.
The time will depend on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to your process. I usually work with clients for 3-6 months. We start setting goals and applying action items by our second session.
